We need your help! Volunteer and share a unique experience.

The time has come where all the hard work done over the last two years relies on YOU helping out a few hours, and sharing the unique experience of participating in the first ever photographic festival in Ireland - something to tell your grandchildren! Some of us here at PhotoIreland have volunteered for other great events in the past like the 2003 Special Olympics, the Darklight Film Festival, Cultivate, the Fringe, etc. And it always has been something enjoyable and an experience to be proud of - as much as a golden star in the curriculum.

We need loads of volunteers - if you can spare a few hours, remember: good things come to those who go and get them!

So, what do we need?
- Over 40 volunteers to work as hosts and invigilators in the venues, in short shifts, usually no more than 4 hours.
- 10 volunteers to distribute programmes around town
- 20 volunteers to help at the opening day
- 4 photographers to help document the events
- 2 volunteers to video specific events
- 2 bloggers

And what do we have to offer?

A goodie Bag with the exclusive volunteer t-shirt, stickers, etc.

Work experience within a fun organisation

Opportunity to demonstrate your skills may a future job position become available

References for your curriculum

A fun and relaxed time enjoying Photography

A chance to meet and to network with photographers, curators, gallery owners, etc.

Entry to the Sycamore Club each evening during the festival

Early entrance to our Closing Party

What we need from our volunteers is very simple

Be responsible with the agreed schedules and be on time

Be courteous and amicable

Be able to follow instructions from a crew manager

Be aware of all the shows, and ready inform visitors
