Workshop: Social Media for Artists

Workshop: Social Media for Artists

Open to everyone
The Back Loft, La Catedral
9th July, 5:30 pm

PhotoIreland wants to motivate all photographers and artists to stay up to date with the contemporary social media platforms, and perhaps to become more active in using them. While your practice would not be directly related to these, the promotion of your work and the way you re-present yourself will clearly improve with a basic grounding on the benefits and downfalls of using spaces like Twitter and Facebook.

And because we want you all to participate, it will be free!

Presented by Conor Lynch, founder of, this talk has been developed for all photographers, artists and students alike. It will be a two hours practical training session on the business use and benefits of Social Media including great new tools and techniques for promoting yourself and your work on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Qik, WordPress, Blogger and more - followed by a Q&A session.

To book a space, all you have to do is to send us an email to
Spaces are limited and are served in a first come, first served basis. Book early!
